ubuntu 17.04 unity8 ubuntu from overlay ppa
ubuntu-terminal-app even though there is a vertical split minimum size you can just resize the colums width past that minimum size and totaly destroy the layout (see attached image)
it kinda defeats the point of having a minimum size i think, also the result is ewwww

terminix seems to safegurad against this case, see attached (you can't resize the columns past a certain width)
