Bug Description

David Pitkin requests that the "Ubuntu shop" link on <http://start.ubuntu.com/> be replaced by a link to the app directory, <https://apps.ubuntu.com/>.

The first thing required for this is a new icon to represent the app directory, in the same style as the other start.ubuntu.com icons.

is this bug's work still required? it likely needs to be directly dealt with by asking Marcus for the icon... and I don't know who updates start.ubuntu.com... but this is the wrong place for this to get resolved.

o/ I'm responsible for start.ubuntu.com
apps.ubuntu.com is unmaintained and the wrong focus (old, desktop).
We don't have a web-based directory for the phone and snappy apps yet.
I'd suggest creating that icon, but shelving the change until we have the web-based store/directory.
