Blank updates screen when the list of update items is bigger than the screen

Booted the phone, opened system-settings and decided to check for updates. Got quite a few items to be updated (longer that it could actually fit the screen), then the list got completely empty, and I can't get back unless I close system-settings.

Worked fine from system-settings -> updates (notification), but failed from about -> check for updates.
