This problem is due to nvidia drivers are not build in this release, i dont now if they will include the drivers for use on ion base netbooks.

I installed the nvidia drivers but the UI mess up, when you click any tab the drop down items are gone, its like a transparency on the menu. Hope someone help us to solve this problem.

moblin user interface only works with intel gpu's even you install the geforce driver i think it won't work. i have tried the moblin user interface on fedora on my 9800gt and the user interface was dead responsive.

but then also if other cards weren't supported that why would ubuntu moblin have other Xorg drivers and also the nvidia one

Good question. I removed them because they are useless. That's a lot of useless packages (there is drivers for nearly every chipset existing installed). Maybe could the ubuntu moblin team remove them from the installed by default packages ?

its 'invalid' or 'won't fix' i can only make it invalid.

Changed in ubuntu-moblin-remix:
status: New → Invalid

Well, let me sum up what I think:
A curious user stumbles upon http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-moblin-remix/releases/9.10/. It looks like an official release from Canonical, and the user might suppose it targets all the commonly ubuntu-supported architectures. He checks the requirements in the same page, and downloads and burns the image. Then, upon booting it, he finds it apparently works, but is sluggish. Nevertheless, he might want to install it, and as far as I can tell, nothing informs him of the unmet requirements. So, what will the user think at the end of his experience? Obviously, that something is broken!
So, is ubuntu-moblin-remix working as intended? No. So, I filled a bug.
Is the problem with mutter? I don't know.
Is the problem with the lack of proper requirement info? Perhaps, but that is still a bug, I just don't know where it should be filled.
Should this bug be marked invalid? I don't think so.
Should it be marked won't fix? Perhaps, that's up to the ubuntu-moblin-team to clarify what they proposed to do (there's no clear definition at the moment)

I might be wrong, of course, so please enlighten me.
