Bug Description

I've encountered a .zip file whose contents, when extracted, somehow cause Ubuntu Mate to crash when the user does a "cd" into one of the directories.

The file is "AN1200.53_Long_GFSK_Packets_v1.0_ECO_049911.zip" and its message digests are:

md5sum 4c6e6323bee74811f373cf2287062ac7
sha256sum aae28a69a8c77b5d6f49705b4eeed154dc1950d8e811c9287c3b0957ea33d344

It can be downloaded by clicking the "Download" link here:

To reproduce the problem, open a Terminal Window and from the directory where the .zip is located:

unzip AN1200.53_Long_GFSK_Packets_v1.0_ECO_049911.zip
cd AN1200.53_Long_GFSK_Packets_v1.0/dep/sx126x_driver

At least with my Ubuntu Mate system (22.04.1 LTS, kernel 5.15.0-58-generic x86_64), this causes the window manager to crash.

I don't see such behavior in other Ubuntu-based distributions.
