Bug Description
As it said in the title: if there is no metacity folder in a given theme, MATE reverts back to Yaru-MATE-light.
This only occurs if the system is a fresh install of Ubuntu MATE 22.04
I also have another computer on which I installed Ubuntu MATE 20.04 first and where successive upgrades did not break my theme.
I attached a file where I set my theme with the results being before and after the reboot.

Now, it reverts back to Yaru-MATE-light after each reboot.
Seems to be related to a change of bevahiour when applying themes.
Ever heard of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it"?
