Editing file name brings up search box

For both the Chromium and Firefox browsers, if I try to save a file as or print to PDF and change the default file name, it switches the focus to a search box instead of the file name box. I would have to continue to move my cursor back to the file name box for every letter of the new file name. My work around is to select the location to save it and use the default file name and rename the file from the file manager. This is only happening since upgrading to 22.04.
