Bug Description
Manual version: 16.04; Chapter 7; Page 111
It is not recommended to install Windows after having Ubuntu installed as the first operating system. This is difficult process is advised by Matthew Helmke in his book "Ubuntu UNLEASHED" Covering 13.10 and 14.04.
This is because Windows overwrites the Master boot Record (MBR) in which Ubuntu installs GRUB2. The GRUB2 boot menu includes all operating systems it detects on the hard disk. So by disabling GRUB, the system loads Windows selectively and prevents Ubuntu being selected as a boot option.
