There appears to be iterations that take several minutes to complete. When running the non-rt flavor of this kernel on the same machine (scobee-kernel), the test completes well within the time limit.

Hmm we have this timeout bumped to 25 minutes in https:/
I am not sure why this test is slower with RT flavour, but please let me know if we want to bump this timeout again.
