Files don't open in external applications due to url-dispatcher change

Right now files do not open externally - e.g. videos, photos, music etc. This is certainly because url-dispatcher recently dropped support for file:// urls and this is what filemanager is sending when the user clicks on a file, expecting that url-dispatcher will handle it when appropriate. I'm not sure what the exact details are but it seems like file manager will have to determine the file type itself and send the right url for url-dispatcher - e.g. music:// for music files.
