2.6.27-7 kernel has made wired ethernet drop out regularly

Bug Description
Since upgrading to 2.6.27-7 my ethernet connections has become very unstable. Works for about the first 1-2mins then drops out and is very unresponsive. I have to disable and re-enable to get it to work again. Best solution so far is to boot to old kernel.
