ks959-sir dongle no longer works under 2.6.27 (REGRESSION)

Apparently as a result the IrDA sub system does not function, not just for the ks959-sir.

I confirmed the problem with my ks959-sir USB IrDA stick for linux-image-2.6.27-8-eeepc version 2.6.27-8.17eeepc1.

The mentioned workaround:

echo 9600 > /proc/sys/net/irda/max_baud_rate

makes it possible to use gnome-ppp again to dial in with my Nokia 5140i, although very slow.

It appears the bug has been sort of fixed in linux 2.28.4.
