Bug Description

For me there is a problem to switch alarm on/off. When I'm trying to hit switcher, sometimes I hit it, but sometimes I hit place (marked by red) near switcher - what cause opening options of alarm. Please consider making button larger or any other solution.

What do you all think about adding trailing action to edit an alarm? That way we can have all area of alarm's ListItem for enabling/disabling an alarm.

We will have to check with design. It does seem like a good solution to our problem though.

Hi all. There's a merge proposal to fix bug #1438037 (Skip next occurrence of a repeating alarm) The idea is to have pause/play trailing action which would skip/restore next alarm occurrence.
What would you say if we also add edit as a trailing action and fix this bug as well?

@etherpulse, cool stuff! I hope someone from UX team could comment here if we're going with this change or not.
Personally I would change one thing in your implementation: click on the alarm list item to switch on/off the alarm. It would be easier to hit the whole list item than just the switch. It works like that in the list items for indicators with switches.

@mpredotka , I've isolated this change from the alarm_pause branch and changed the switch toggle to work also on click of the list item as you suggested.

I've created a new Merge proposal at : https://code.launchpad.net/~etherpulse/ubuntu-clock-app/alarm_on_off/+merge/313286

Here is how it work now : https://youtu.be/VzIy3SHhgWE

Should I disable the background change on click as it does provide a nice feedback but the indicator background isn't switched on click (though the system configuration item with toggle switch does change it background on click)

With the enlarged click area for the switch instead of the trailing action.
