Bug Description
QA has requested the ability to run tests against non-canonical upstream projects when the upstream project releases a new version (i.e. a new upstream tarball) or when specific canonical projects change to test for compatibility issues.
The first test case for this is:
lp:~phablet-team/phablet-extras/qtmultimedia-touch
The above is the packaging branch for an upstream project used on the touch image. We supply the backend, so we want to know if a change to that backend or the project itself results in test failures. We also want to test when there is a change to pulseaudio (which is the backend).
This work depends on lp:1254162.
