Wishlist: Encourage a high-quality Libreoffice template cottage industry

At the Ubuntu Design Community Roundtable at UDS-P it was noted that the default Libreoffice templates at are available are somewhat bland. Ideally it would be good to promote a whole "cottage industry" around producing high-quality templates for general (non-Ubuntu) usage by Ubuntu end-users.

Ideally the design team may be able to kick-start this and facilitate. They could be distributed/sold via the Ubuntu Software Store.

Jorge noted that he would happily pay for high-quality templates for general use, up to the standard available on other platforms.
