Thanks for helping us to make Timer Applet better! Could you please make a
screenshot to see exactly what you mean?

This is a sample of what it looks like. The real hitch is that many laptop displays can't be at optimal viewing angles, and so when viewed off-angle, it's almost impossible to see its progress.
