Openshot cannot playback ogg video

Confirmed with todays lucid 64 bit (loopback mounted from hd). part1.ogv does not work.

This ogg/vorbis video does work:

Wont play in ffplay or melt, screenshots to follow.

This has been wrongly marked as a duplicate. #449250 appears to be completely unrelated and has also been marked as invalid.

I can confirm that this bug also occurs on my laptop. The video plays fine in Totem and PiTiVi, but not openshot.

I also confirm that this is a bug in openshot video when playing ogg (.ogv) video files.

I'm attaching a .ogv video file which actually shows the problem (recorded with gtk-recordMyDesktop)

And following the example bug report, here is my info:

Description: ogg (.ogv) files can't be played correctly in openshot, video image is corrupted
  1) No, this video does not work when playing it with ffplay.
  2) No, it does not work in melt eihter, it shows the same problem.
  3) Here are the details from ffmpeg about my video:

If i see what you do (and the information), this codec is not recognize totally by ffmpeg.
On another hand, there is a problem with the version of RecordMydesktop (and his gui gtk and qt) who is in Lucid ( i think that i have found this information on Webup8 but not sure).
Try this command :
tcprobe -i out-1.ogv
And when i see the video, it seems to be a problem with MLT.
Globally, i will said that there is two problems with this video : one when she has been record (try a another ogv file but not record with GTK-recordmydesktop ) and the second is that MLT not recognize the video. Some people have some problems with the 0.54 (and the 0.52 of course because the first modify a display bug of the second). And i have some positive feedback with the last version 0.5.5 from people who have this sort of problems. But you must compile it.

This bug has nothing to do with #449250, it is certainly not a duplicate.

I've the same problem before with recordmydesktop generated files.
The corruption came from recordmydesktop himself :
