Bug Description
I happen to be in Telegram groups that are quite active, and which I can't follow each day. For those, I turn off notifications (mute) for the group.
However, even after muting the group, the notifications appear on the launcher icon. Right now, I've got a 4K on the icon, which makes the notification icon not really useful, as I'm only interested in notifications from non-muted conversations, which then get drowned by other groups I'm not interested in immediately following.

We can not reproduce this problem in testing with the latest (2.2.24.0),
could you please help us to check the symptom again?
If yes, please tell us the frequency and the reproduce steps,
we will follow.
