Telegram app continues to show deleted conversations

Bug Description
Today I've deleted a few old Telegram conversations held on my previous phone after I signed in with my existing Telegram account on my bq Aquaris E5, running Ubuntu 15.04 (OTA-8.5) using Telegram for Ubuntu v.2.0.4. Because of having trouble to delete conversations from my Ubuntu Phone, I deleted them using my iPhone. Other than on my Ubuntu phone no chats are shown there anymore. However, while correctly not displaying the old chats where the chat partner is still using Telegram, the Ubuntu app seemingly has problems to delete the chats, where the chat partner has no account at Telegram anymore. Neither restarting the app nor the phone itself could resolve the issue.
Please have a closer look at that. Thanks in advance.

Phenomenon does not occur with Telegram 2.0.8.0 anymore.
