Bug Description

I have some config files that I would like to have synced. Would it be possible to mark a single file for syncing?

Hm. I really don't know if I could do that with the current architecture.

Could you create a new empty folder just for syncing, then symlink (or hard link) individual files into it? A bit of a hack on the client side, but it would keep the software simple...

I suppose the symlink would not work at the moment, because Syncany
does not deal with symlinks at all. The hardlink, however should work.

Agreed. would be a way around it for now. For me single file syncing would be awesome and none of the other alternatives have this!
