We need a status page as primary means of sponsorship status.

Email via whatever setting people put in their launchpad account is too unreliable. I consistently get people who lose their invitations or declinations. Instead after a person applies I'd like to see them go to a status page that explains their current status; we explain that emails sometimes don't make it so to check the page often. Something that someone can bookmark.

After selection is completed I'd like to be able to mark a person's application as either "accepted", "declined", or "waitlist". If a person's status changes they get sent an email to check the page. The page then displays either a polite declination with reason, a waiting list message, or, if accepted, the entire text of the travel information that we currently mail to people.

I'd also like the ability to just edit the 3 states so that we can keep that up to date for each UDS, perhaps just connect it to three google docs that myself and Marianna can keep up to date but gets displayed through summit.
