Bug Description

I haven't seen other tracebacks, so I think the reason this installation failed is because apt update failed due to a mirror problem. But I can't be sure.

Logs attached.

This really looks like a problem an out of sync mirror, as you noted already. While I agree the user facing error is not really informative, this is currently the expected behavior of subiquity as far as I can tell.

This shouldn't crash the installer and prompt the user to send a bug report to Canonical.

Some suggestions:
- ignore the error and continue without updating
- warn the user that apt update is failing, ask if it should continue without updating, or try again without the mirror (i.e., use archive.ubuntu.com)

I think the mirror page should do fetch the Release file for the specified repo and check it looks vaguely sane before proceeding.
