Bug Description
See attached screenshot. I selected the option to identify the keyboard, and then the installer asked me to press certain keys. The first one was "*", which on my keyboard is obtained by pressing shift+8. To my surprise, every time I pressed the SHIFT key, the installer would say "Input was not recognized, try again", one line below the previous message, filling up the screen.

I can reproduce this following Andrea's steps. There are in my opinion two issues here:
1. The instructions are not super clear. The user needs to press the key with the '*' symbol drawn on it, without pressing shift. That is: the user should not try to enter the '*' key. However it's easy to interpret the instructions as: "type an *".
2. The piling up of the "Input was not recognized" error messages.
