I have seen mentions on the Ubuntu developer blog via Phoronix that Canonical are working on ZFS root support for Ubiquity?
I wrote a ZFS installer for Arch ( https://github.com/danboid/ALEZ ) and one of its main features is that it configures your pool so as to enable to creation of boot environments using zedenv so I am pre-emptively opening this feature request to request that the Ubiquity create its pool and datasets in a very similar way as ALEZ so that Ubuntu users will be able to use zedenv to create and manage boot envs.
Thanks! |
