Bug Description

R CrB or HD 141527
the data inside the software shows that the distance of it is 81539 light years and the absolute magnitude is -11.14
it is ridiculous.
Wikipedia shows that the distance is 1400 parsec (4564 light years) and the absolute magnitude is -5.
it is kind of reliable.

Distance (and with it, abs. magnitude) is computed from the parallax value given in the source catalog. Is there a specified lower end for reliable parallax?

This and certainly many other false distances should be remedied with the GAIA DR1 or later catalogs, if anybody takes the challenge of replacing our current star catalogs.
