Bug Description

Using version 0.90.0.9767 trunk downloaded the 2017/08/20

When I change location from the location window the Time Zone is automatically adapting to the chosen location. This if I use the version 0.11,

but not if I use the 0.90.0.9767 trunk version.

0.11? But version 0.11 is doesn't know about time zones. 0.90.0.9767 changed time zones when location are changes.

Sorry about that. The version that I know such feature is working is 0.16.0 (the latest one on http://www.stellarium.org/)

I confirm the problem on version 0.90.0.9767 trunk downloaded the 2017/08/20

Selecting a stored location will set correct time zone. Clicking on the map enables only local mean time. Setting time zone in addition should not be too difficult.

Thank you for the answer.
It's too long to explain why I got into thinking that a version that is not the 0.90 was automatically adapting the time zone to the chosen location. I was mistaken.

At the same time I find it very natural to have that, though I understand that with only few programmers doing the entire work this would be a feature not worth the effort.
Should I convert this bug report into a feature request, evaluate the interest, and then maybe consider to implement it (I would need to find the time for it too)?

What Marcello wants (and I also see it would be nice) is clicking on the map and getting not only long/lat but also the correct timezone. This would require a polygon lookup (inside/outside testing) with a set of timezone-describing polygons, which we however do not have. (And they are frequently changing!)
