I downloaded the new update for my IPAD and the the character on the screen are not in English! I think they are are in Russian.

I guess this is not the right board, you should visit https://launchpad.net/~stellarium-iphone which it's the source of your iPad's version.

If you look at at the reviews 3 other people have the same problem today, The version that is up in the application library says the language is RUSSIAN. WHAT IS GOING ON, The program is totally worthless. I sent a note to the apple application people,

There is nothing wrong with the program. The wrong version is in the application library. It has already screwed up 3 people. I had to delete it from my IPAD.

As said to the other guy, they have the wrong version on apple application library ( Russian ). You get a notice notice of a upgrade. After which you go from English to Russian. This totally useless for me. I had to delete it. Looking at the reviews other people got caught in the same trap today. Somebody should have not put that version on the application library. I sent a note to the person in charge of the apple applications library to remove it.

Problem confirmed: indeed, there's a problem with localization settings in latest version. Result - many strings are appear in Russian. Fix will be issued shortly.
