Bug Description
Binary package hint: startupmanager
After launching Startup Manager, making changes to startup and then closing it, it just hangs.
As of this writing it had been "Performing post-configureation tasks" for over two hours.
In the past it's been less than a minute.

Open a terminal and run 'sudo update-initramfs -uk all' to see if that hangs too. If not, try 'sudo update-grub'.
Those are the two commands sum run at shutdown, so I am guessing the problem lies with one of those.
