This is what I get from terminal:
SoundConverter 2.1.5
using Gstreamer version: 0.10.36
using 8 thread(s)
using gio
Queue start: 1 tasks, 8 thread(s).
Queue done in 0.009s (1 tasks)
Queue start: 1 tasks, 8 thread(s).
*** stack smashing detected ***: /usr/bin/python terminated
Aborted (core dumped)
I'm not sure if this started to happen after 15.10 upgrade. It only happens, as far as I know, when converting from m4a to mp3 or any m4a file to any other format.

I can confirm, running 15.10 and receiving the same error any time I try to convert any Apple Lossless (.m4a) music file to any other format.
