"snapcraft release" chokes given an invalid revision value

Bug Description
If you provide an invalid revision value as below, you can see that "snapcraft release" does not even acknowledge the command it's running:
$ snapcraft release mysnap fubar
Usage: snapcraft [OPTIONS] COMMAND [ARGS]...
Try 'snapcraft -h' for help.
Error: No such command 'release'.
$

Confirmed. I was able to reproduce this with snapcraft 7.2.9.
