Bug Description
I'd like my remote part to be able to specify some layout options.
I want to make a remote part that can do this too. My idea:

The use-case is a helper that launches Xwayland before an X11 application. Xwayland has some hardcoded paths that layouts fix. Ideally I'd like to hide the Xwayland layout stuff from the user.
