snap update doesn't go away after updated

When I logged in today I got a pop-up notification telling me to download and install software. I clicked it and the snap-store app opened and told me that there was a CUPS update available. I clicked the Update All button, and I was prompted for my password. I then observed the following problems:

1. All the Update All button turned into a cylon bar telling me that the installation was proceeding, the button next to CUPS remained a static "Update" button. What _should_ happen in this context is that as each snap is being updated the button next to it should turn into a progress bar or update status message or something.

2. When the update finished CUPS wasn't remove from the list of snaps available to update.

3. When I clicked the Update button it said that no update was available, which is understandable since I had just installed it.

Don't know if these are new issues in Mantic. The behavior is just... not great.
