Bug Description

If we download a firmware file (*.cab) from LVFS, use the command
$ sudo fwupdmgr install foo.cab
can install the firmware successfully.

But if we try open the cab file in GNOME Files by right click the file and choose "open with software install", then Snap Store will be open, but with a error message "Falled to install file: not supported".(screenshot attached)

I tried the snap-store 40.0-341-gb49ac9c in edge channel, still has this issue.

I also tried
$ sudo snap remove snap-store
and
$ sudo apt install gnome-software

and found gnome-software do not have this issue.
