Bug Description

When using the snap store there is no feedback after pressing the Install button. The button continues to show "Install", is still active, and is still green. The only way to show some sort of feedback is to press the button again, then the progress bar will display briefly until an error pops up informing the user that the snap store is busy installing the application.

Expected behavior: While installing an application, the Install button for that application should hide or show a different status ("Cancel"). Additionally, there should be a way to see all installations that are currently running, if the user can install multiple applications at once, to cancel any of them from within the snap store.

Forgot to mention that this issue occurs randomly. For instance, after installing the app once, the Snap Store is now showing the proper experience while removing and re-installing the same app.

Thanks @paulw2u for changing the package. Using `ubuntu-bug snap-store` doesn't work in the terminal for some reason ("dpkg-query: no packages found matching snap-store").

Yeah, I do see this happen (seemingly) at random.

Here's a screenshot of it happening while installing Pinta. The "Install" button should have changed to something else ("Cancel"?), and the progress bar should have shown. Instead, after pressing the install button again, the progress bar briefly showed and then disappeared once the error in the image appeared.

The "Remove" button will appear when the installation process is complete.

Having the exact same problem and have been for years. Changing the source to Ubuntu (deb) seems to sit at 0% for longer than it should but functions as expected once it starts increasing. Also happens for every single install done via snap - tested over multiple PCs and a massive swathe of applications.
