Bug Description

I tried to enter the url of a repository to create a channel automatically. No new channel was created.
The url is: ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.0/

I'm running Smart 1.2 on OpenSuSE 11.0, i586.

You might have better luck if you try the "repo" file, like:
smart channel --add ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.0/KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop.repo
