Cannot take screen snapshots in wayland session

Bug Description
Cannot take shots directly from the app.
I have to fist take a shot in gnome3 using a key
then open in the program and then edit.
Also while Editing, all icons are very small due to my HIDPI 4k screen.
Can the app be updated to the latest QT framework or update the Icons to support better scaling.
