Bug Description
Binary package hint: shotwell
My camera (Panasoinic FZ-28) when plugged in via USB can appear like USB storage, but only read-only. This all mounts ok and the mount is shown as ro in /proc/mounts.
Shotwell imports stuff from it, however after import it offers to delete the images from the camera; this obviously fails.
1) If it's importing from a ro mount it shouldn't offer to delete the items
2) The error it gives when it fails doesn't give any diags - it just says there were errors.

I don't know how common such cameras are, but this seems like a reasonable suggestion. I've ticketed this upstream at
