Doesn't work anymore in Ubuntu 11.10

Bug Description

Using the latest .deb off the downloads page, the app unfortunately does not work in Ubuntu 11.10 - the letters aren't displayed and it looks visually wrong.

Also, the 'quit' menu option does not quit it.

After seeing this bug report for 11.10, I tested it out after a fresh install of Oneiric, and it seems to work fine for me. It works just like always.

One thing to note, however, is I use Gnome Shell rather than Unity. Not sure if that would make a difference.

I tested it just now (was installed from before).

It works in that, it shows the keys... but the about indicator's options do not respond.

Ubuntu 11.10. Same here under XFCE4. Indicator crashes when clicking on settings entry in icon.
