No way to specify default frontpage calendar presentation parameters

Bug Description
Authenticated users have the option to change the way every calendar is presented to them. But the site manager cannot specify how the frontpage calendar should look to anonymous users. This is fixed to HH:MM and Monday as first day of the week.

Would also like to be able to change default view of the calendar. Monthly or Weekly would make more sense on the front page.
