Bug Description
Publishing from iCal to SchoolTool 0.11.4,
iCal and SchoolTool both set to Europe/London
ISSUE:
times presented by SchoolTool are one hour ahead of what they should be.
<http://
example, yesterday I had lunch with Pete from 12:30 to 14:00 but SchoolTool
presents 13:30 to 15:00.
The issue is not evident in the public view of my calendar. It's evident only
when I log in to SchoolTool.
If it's relevant, at the server (Ubuntu 6.06 server on an iMac):
wca@imac06:~$ date
Wed Sep 13 11:59:22 BST 2006
-- matches the time on the MacBook Pro from which I publish to SchoolTool.
wca@imac06:~$ sudo /sbin/hwclock --systohc --debug
hwclock from util-linux-2.12r
hwclock: Open of /dev/rtc failed, errno=2: No such file or directory.
No usable clock interface found.
Cannot access the Hardware Clock via any known method.
wca@imac06:~$ ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 33 2006-09-13 11:41 /etc/localtime -> /usr/share/
zoneinfo/
in
/etc/default/rcS
UTC=yes

Thanks for any advice.

Schooltool does not support import of calendars with non UTC timezones. It would
be nice if someone would finish the code that i have started writing up though,
but at the moment we have different priorities.
