Bug Description
Since May 22, sbackup terminates with the following message:
"An error occurred
Unable to finish successfully. TAR terminated with errors."
In the logfiles I observe the following error near the end:
/bin/tar: /tmp/sbackup/
/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
the directory /tmp/sbackup exists, is only readable by root, but is empty.
Last Friday, I swapped my default profile (target on external server) with a second profile (target on USB disk). I have checked the config files and nothing strange seems to be present there; I've also re-edited my default profile (which now has its target on USB disk), but that did not fix the problem.
I'm running sbackup 0.11.6-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS and haven't observed this problem before last Friday.
The target directory is an external disk.
Anything (else) I can do to pin down the source of this error?
