I switched to sftp (in stead of ssh), now the Connect config indicates succesful connect (green tickmark), but the backup fails to launch. In the log, I see it collecting files but no backup process (i.e. tar) is started. The inicator is stuck at 'Collecting file info'. There is no remote dir mounted at /root/.gvfs, but the destination directory at the remote host is still being made!
Still stuck - any ideas?
