Bug Description
In scopes, when a user navigates to a Preview, they can swipe left or right to show adjoining result Previews. But, the accessible Previews are limited to results in the same category.
This limits things undesirably. For example, the News scope design calls for the first result (in for example Headlines dept) to use a layout with a big photo and all subsequent results to use a different layout. This means they are in different categories by definition. If use taps the first result to show Preview, they cannot swipe to any other results. If they tap the second result to show its Preview, they cannot swipe left to the first result.
Maybe a "swipe list" object to which dev can add optinally add categories? Or some other implementation.

Hi Kyle, horizontal swiping between previews is actually going to be removed entirely. Please see: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ unity8/ +bug/1541967
I guess technically this is no longer a valid bug, so I'm going to set it to invalid.
