Bug Description
In version 0.1.3, two new message seems to have been introduced but there is no way of translating them.
The message displayed in steps 5 and 6 have been modified in such a way the user now gets "Please confirm %s dates over a tamper-proof connection, such as a telephone:", where "%s" is either "their" or "your". But there seems to be no way of translating "their" or "your" in the po file.
Is that a problem of consistency between the Python file and the pot file?
By the way, asking for a translation of "their" and "your" without any additional context could end up in incorrect messages in most languages. For instance, when translating into French, "your" can be "ton", or "ta", or "votre", or "tes", or "vos"! It would be preferable to have complete messages translated, in our case :
"Please confirm your dates over a tamper-proof connection, such as a telephone:" on one side,
and "Please confirm thier dates over a tamper-proof connection, such as a telephone:" on the other side.
0.1.3 was rushed out because of a security issue, so there was no time to get those strings translated for 0.1.3. Since that whole page is going to be rewritten before the next release, there didn't seem much point in bothering people with changes that wouldn't go anywhere.
For what it's worth, I try to minimise the frequency with which I upload new .pot files to Launchpad Translations - it usually takes about 6 hours for a new translation to go live, and the Launchpad guys are still working on keeping hold of translations when the new .pot contains minor changes to the English text. That means I get to go through after each upload and add messages back in manually, so if you ever see translations suggested by me, now you know why :)
