Update: The app works fine with the local notebook. But it hangs indefinitely when trying to use the evernote account. So it is likely that evernote sync is broken.

It looks that this bug is independent from hardware.

After a few weeks of using the app synced with Evernote without issue, I experienced this problem all of a sudden after switching between the app and another. The app hung on a screen showing half of the new-note pull-up. After that, it would not start unless I removed my Evernote account and just used local notes.

Uninstalling the app, deleting the ~/.local/share/com.ubuntu.reminders/ directory, re-installing, and re-authenticating Evernote fixed the issue for me (for now). On Nexus 4 (OTA 9), app version 0.5.472.

@marcinkowski: Thanks for noting the workaround. It fixed the problem for me, too. (It's enough to remove the subdirectory for your evernote account -- in case you want to keep local notes.)

I might have a clue what's going on with this issue. In order to confirm, can someone suffering from this issue please paste the output of:

ls ~/.local/share/com.ubuntu.reminders/<accountname>

replace <accountname> with your evernote username.

Thanks a lot.
