Bug Description
A wishlist/feature request for Referencer - I don't know if it is possible, but it would be great if Referencer could save the metadata that is retrieved or manually entered to the file so that other metadata aware programs can also access it. Additionally, if a new Referencer library is created and you add a file that was previously tagged, then it would retain the information and would not need to be retrieved/manually entered again.

I'm marking this as incomplete, since I think it is too abstract. If you can think of concrete ways of doing it, please elaborate.
I think the idea is very good. Maybe something like Zeitgeist can be used to attach the metadata.
