Bug Description
Thank you for writing such a nice software. It really helps to stay in front on the computer during the night.
During daytime, however, I have to toggle the software off. This is so because I am using a color managed display, and Redshift overrides my color settings even when it is not performing any temperature change. So, I think it would be useful, if possible, to have Redshift maintain during daytime the applied color correction.
It could also be practical, again if possible, to have Redshift apply its temperature change starting from the color profile set to the display. Of course this would not be useful for color-exact work, but I believe it would render the displayed colors in a more pleasing way.

I'm another user affected by this. In my case the screen when uncorrected by a colour profile has a massive blue tinge and looks terrible (Lenovo Thinkpad T430s). Installing a colour profile makes it look decent. But then running redshift ignores that and I get the blue back making redshift unusable.
