Has no effect with nouveau driver

Neither randr or vidmode has any effect on my screen color temperature running Fedora 15 and Gnome Shell.

I have tried both stable 1.6 and trunk branched from the launchpad repo. I'm running nouveau on a Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M.

Same bug here on fedora 15 with both randr and vidmode. I'm using 1.6-3.

I am also seeing the same behaviour in Ubuntu Oneiric running Unity, and using nouveau.

Using nouveau and version 1.7 of redshift on Debian, it works with both randr and vidmode. Not using gnome-shell though.

Using nouveau and version 1.7 of redshift on Ubuntu it works at least with randr on gnome-panel (gnome session fallback).
