Bug Description

This is just an idea of mine, wouldn't it be nice if you could manage the mods with rapache, so you don't have to copy/link the .load and .conf files every time but have that done for you by rapache (I kind of imagine it like a list with boxes, you just tick the ones you need, press save and restart apache) and of course it would be cool if I could also manage them (like configuration for userdir etc.)

Just an idea of course and I'm not sure if people really need it but well, I would use it if I can use it over ssh.

A nice idea. If you look in the gui, there's already a tab devoided to do that. Currently the tab contains just a placeholder, but the managing modules feature is on our roadmap and will be implemented very soon.

As for SSH we will work on that too, but not so soon.

Not sure about what you mean when you say: "like configuration for userdir".

UserDir is one of the mods, to allow every user to have a directory eg. public_html that contains their website and when you surf to servername/~user/ you get that site, such mods need some configuration before they work.

I see. Seems like configuration varies depending on the module.
That would require customized handling for each module, which sound
like quite a bit of effort. Realistically, we could automate
enabling/disabling of modules, and let people edit the .conf text file
at hand, within Rapache interfaces, at least for the soon future. Does
that sounds reasonable to you ?

Of course it does, I'm just suggesting stuff. I would really like to help you guys more out but I can't code python (yet).

Basic modules handling just committed to the branch.
You can:
 - enable/disable modules
 - edit modules configuration (inside a text box) and save it
 - browse the installed apache modules along with they're description (what they do)
 - also we have a nice new icon for modules :-)
