High sensettivity of motion sensors in Sixaxis Gives false positive

I was trying to recalibrate my Six Axis today with Mednafen and found it impossible because Accelerometer Axis 7 and 8 would not top bouncing values everywhere. No matter what I did, Accelerometers would give false positives to mednafen. upon Checking KDE system settings, I had to hold the Six Axis at a 90 degree angle to zero out the accelerometer. I have a feeling the accelerometer data is a false positive as it was still changing values with the controller stationary on a table.
